Travel Tips A man was driving, and instead of trying to beat a yellow light, he stopped, causing a woman behind him to hit her horn and start screaming at him. She was so mad she dropped her cell phone. As she was still in mid-rant, she hear a tap on her car window and looked into the face of a very serious police officer, who ordered her out of the car with her hands up. He took her to the police station, where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. About two hours later, she was released. The arresting officer explained that he had made a mistake. He said, 鈥淵ou see, when I pulled up behind your car, you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cursing a blue streak at him鈥?br /> Then I noticed your 鈥渃hoose life鈥?license plate holder鈥he 鈥淟ove One Another鈥?bumper sticker鈥he 鈥淏e Kind & Have Humility"鈥?br /> And naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.鈥?br /> My point is this: Practice what you preach. Don鈥檛 let your actions put the lie on what you claim to be. Be true to your word and to your creed. Even when you think no one is watching. LOL Holyman! Good one! Tq Sarah..nice name..lol.. do i know u? hehehe... Others I practice what I preach, so no one can say I don't. I wish everyone did. I do so there are no surprises. Iam moral, respectful and compassionate and expect the same from you. If you don't want to know the truth don't ask what I think. i do. I think people should be real,that means honestly expressing yourself even your weaknesses! my dad practiced what he preached,and it was one of the best things he did for me. I practice what I preach, however, I also am a realist and know that the human heart is very wicked, and even Christians who walk in faith make sinful mistakes and have to return to the throne of God for mercy and help. Healing is a lifelong and painful path. The Bible has a law that when we are baptized in Christ we share in His sufferings also. There is no easy believe-ism. Have a blessed day. Remember, a righteous man, even if he makes a mistake, repents and gets back on the narrow path toward eternal life, where we are supposed to walk. Life and the B-I-B-L-E i dont simply because its too difficult. for example, i preach that people should give to the homeless, but i cant because i am out of a job myself. thats just one example. |
