Would you date or marry Orang Asli in Malaysia? |
Travel Info Interracial marriage or relationship between Malay and Chinese, Indian and Chinese and etc. are quite common. What about indigenous group like Senoi, Dayak, Iban, Sulu and Negrito? Travel Tips Indigenous people is well-know for a 'community' living. You don't just marry that person, you marry their family and everyone else. Others well there is ppl among malay married those indigenous ppl but its rare to see so and for chinese and indian...i have no idea never heard! well actually this indigenous ppl prefere to married among their ppl coz of heritage reasons... so i guess thts de reason why=) If you do not mind... hunting fowls and pigs and keep under the houses ( to be eaten on festival days), farming, cocks gambling, drinking tuak, living in a single longhouse composed of from 4 to 50 independent family units, worshipping spirits, decorating your house with skulls, tattoo and blowpipes..then you could date or marry orang asli! http://allmalaysia.info/msiaknow/ethnici... I don鈥檛 consider orang asli as extraordinary species of Homo sapiens. They are another us. I am planning to be a part time teacher in kampong orang asli. Hopefully I鈥檒l meet few interesting ones to date. thery are just normal human. i wouldnt mine I was married to an Iban lady for 7 years and despite what you.... err I mean 'Nurhaliza Wong' said they dont all live in longhouses worshiping spirits and drinking tuak (my first wife lives in a city, belongs to the Anglican church and is tee-total) We have 2 wonderful children from that marriage and even though we are divorced we still remain good friends. I am planning to marry another lady this year who is half Iban/half Chinese, so they cant be all that bad! (BTW Aku orang putih) |
