Baggage transfer from&to conecting flts? |
Travel Info I am travelling from Manchester to Detroit via Heathrow on Flts BA1389 & 203 on 18 sep 06. Will my hold baggage be automatically transferred from the first aircraft to the second one? also for return flt on 2oct 06 Travel Tips They will transfer your bags to your connecting flight...but if they actually get it on the right flight is a question left unanswered. They do tend to lose your bags, but its rare. More than likely they will get it on the right flight, but you never know with airports! They will send you your bags when they find them again. Just be sure to tag them and put your name and address inside your bags. Good luck! Others Yes it will automatically be transferred. You can confirm this when you check-in. As long as your are booked right through to your destination, your luggage will be transferred to your ongoing flights not matter how long your stopovers are and will (god willing) arrive with you at your final destination. |
