Why on earth would you want to go to Blackpool, it's full of drunks and smells, it's dirty and it cost a fortune.

Don't be silly!
Do you want a lift with someone or do you want to know the way. Just follow the M6 north and turn off at the Blackpool turn off.
1, pass your driving test
2, buy a car,
3, pay insurances etc
4, purchase petrol
5, get directions
6, go go go!!!!

seriously though...
go on AA roadmap and enter your address and where you want to go, it'll give you directions....

Blackpool though????
God knows why you'd wanna come here, but this is what you do. Follow M6 North/south then take the M55 from Preston which will take you directly into any area (sign-posted) of Blackpool. Really depends on where you're starting out from! Either way, head for Manchester, hit Preston, then M55.
