What's the didsbury area of manchester like to live in?

Travel Tips
Considered as quite "posh" and houses are really expensive say from like 拢250,000-拢300,000 upwards generally. its quite lively as parts are quite studenty cos theres a manchester university campus there. It's not far from manchester town centre either and really close to a big leisure centre and has lots of shops.

East Didsbury used to be quite 'posh', don't really know what it's like now!
Didsbury is a really nice area, its growing popularity has made the properties quite expensive though.

It is not far from the city centre and has a good night life.
very nice. as you approach manchester from the south up the a34 it is the first point at which you feel like you are getting into the city. more buses and taxis about. more pubs and restaurants. busy but still with a feel of an affluent suburb.
Not bad.Since it's become more popular house prices have increased. Also very popular area with young professionals and students.
Easy to get in and out of the city centre for work/college.
very up a nd coming area in manchester, the house prices have increased there and it is quite lively areas of town.
Fine...but does it not rub up against Burnage?
