Travel Info We would like an ex footballer for this function it is a small charity catering for the needs of teenagers with cancer, based here in Manchester. We can only afford to pay in the region of 拢600 to 拢800 Travel Tips Is it worth contacting the FA? They may have a PR section who could help. Just a thought... Others saint or greavsie are a good bet ! why not be brave.. approach one of the football clubs, or their players. As its in Manchester then there is City, if you want to further afield there's ManUre in Salford, Bolton in the premiership, or even Blackburn, most of these clubs will have a well established PR function.. try approaching them first. I wouldnt rule out the Liverpool clubs.. some of their players live int he manchester area Alternatively approach the players directly if you think there is a connection.. if you identify a player who may have similar interests or experiences (ie has a child with cancer). you could also try others say Stockport, Macclesfield You could alos try the PFA.. the 'trade union' for professional footballers |
