Salford Business School and Media School both have excellent reputations.

Salford is very rough in some areas, but there are some lovely areas to like the Quays. People are investing heavily in the area - especially the huge property developers, Urban Splash.

Depends on the course, don't forget Manchester is about 2 mins away on the tram (they merge into one really) so you will never be stuck for something to do - and with 4 universities, Greater Manchester/Salford is great for students.
