What is manchester england like? |
Travel Info I would like to know, what is manchester england like? I mean, is it nice? and what about jobs out there in england? I mean, I'm moving out there, but not in a place where it cost alot! like the city of LONDON...that's stupid! I use to live in new york most of my life, so, I know big citys, I know what it's like to live in a big city! anyway....all I want to know is, where does any one think I should start...I need to know, because, I leave to go out there next month in april, I'll need to find a job fast, I have 2 children that are coming with me...my husband is in manchester, he's staying with a friend who's helping him get on his feet, my husband is from ROMANIA & I'm from here, the U.S.A. I'm going to meet my husband out there, I only know that he's in manchester at his friends but that's all. Can anyone answer this? Thanks. Travel Tips Hmm it seemed normal to me. I took a flight out of their airport to New York. Nice airport Others You will need to know his address before you come to the UK or you will not be allowed in. Also, if you are planning on working here you will need a work permit, and a National Insurance number or you wont be able to get legal work and if you are found to be working illegally, you will be deported... Having said that, Manchester is quite a large place with a good shopping centre and it certainly isn't cheap...nowhere in the UK is anymore...Manchester also has beautiful scenery on it's doorstep.
