Is there any public transport from heatrow airport to manchester britannia airport hotel? |
Travel Info i need to go to britannia airport hotel on 4th may 2007.i want to know about the cheapest transport and bagpackers hostel in manchester. Travel Tips Oh dear, you'd be better off looking up a cheap flight from Heathrow to Manchester or you're going to be in a long bus journey. You can get the bus for around 拢25, it will take 6 or 7 hours though. You can book bus tickets on www.nationalexpress.com Others Think you can get a train to Manchester Piccadilly then get a taxi outside the sation to the hotel it is about a 2 hour trip.A bus would probably be cheaper but I am unsure of availabilty. You'd have to either get a coach to Manchester, which will take hours, or get a train into London, the tube across London to Euston Station then the train from there to Manchester. Which will also take hours, though probably slightly less than the coach! I agree with the previous answer, it would be a lot easier to get an internal flight. national express coach service I always find is the best way to travel airport to airport. the cheapest transport system in Manchester is the metro link, although, this summer they are doing up many of the metro link lines & some of them are closing for a while, but the bus links are very good & not very expensive. don't know much about backpackers hostels as I normally go in a B&B sorry you would be better off getting the plane to Manchester.I once got the coach and it takes hours.The train takes a long time too and then you have the messing about getting accross London .Get the plane. |
