Manchester area hotels and B&Bs?

Hi Ya,
I am interested in hotels and B&Bs in the Manchester area. I may be relocating and would like to go and check it out for a week or so. Are there any good craft supply shops? What about Royal Doulton shops? I am a freak for both!
