I have 4 hours to kill in Manchester airport... what'll I do? |
Travel Info Hi!! I'm flying to Canada from Ireland and the cheapest option was going Dublin-Manchester, Manchester-Toronto. I'll arrive in Manchester at 7:30am (on a Thursday) and don't fly out until 13:30 (check in from 11:30am then). So what'll I do for those 4/5 hours?? I've never been in Manchester, so I don't know the airport or what I could do. Thanks for your ideas! Travel Tips there are plenty of coffee bars & shops at the airport just browse around Others go around and hit on single ladies Talk to someone.(duh) Go around and say to people you have never seen before in your life..."OMG!! HOW are you? I haven't seen you in the longest time ever!!!!" LOL Or rent a luggage cart and play races with the 12 year old who's using his PSP...he'll love you forever. Or make a fort with your luggage and throw paper balls at passersby Or every time a plane takes off scream "There was a bomb in that plane!!!!".....Ahh....airports... much fun...so little time! When I am waiting for somebody and got early in our meeting place I usually get hold of a newspaper to kill the time. In your case, i suggest that you pick up a paperback to read sothat you will not get so bored, that is ifyou are fond of reading, or take a nap, but don't over sleep. none The airport is really too far from the city to go and visit. Best bet is to hang out at the airport |
