Travel Info on certain things that I can't find on the net. I can't seem to find a site or someone to help me. I want to know different prices, in rupees, on about 10 different items. ex. soda, chips, booze, smokes, activities such as boatrides, scuba, horseriding, club entry fee's, ect. Pleeeaaaaze, can someone from muaritius just state the prices please. I'm going to SUGAR BEACH on the 23rd may, that's next week wednesday. And, while we are doing this, I might as well steal smartyslacks' idea, and if anyone wants to know more about south-Africa, or ask me any questions(I'm south African) I'd be delighted to answer them right here. Travel Tips Hello am Mauritian.. well soda will cost you 20 rupees... chips from 10 to 75 rupees (depending on brands and packs).. for cigarettes i smoke 555 and it costs 85 rupees for a packet of 20. Night clubs are entrance free( most of them ) or 200 maximum entrance fees.. drinks will be more expensive .. like everywhere else in the world i think...a vodka glass + juice costs 100 rupees in clubs... while you can get 1 L of vodka for 200 in supermarkets.. I live near a domaine for horse riding and show jumping ...you can note the the name , "Domaine Les Pailles".. you can do quad biking there too.. For boat rides last time i went was 3 months ago.. at grand bay on a catamaran...a whole day trip food and drinks included(barbecue on a tiny island) costs 1000 per person.. (but careful they would always give higher prices to tourists) Sugar beach is a nice hotel.. for sure you'll .enjoy your holidays...and if you have other questions .. don't hesitate to contact me via my profile ...
