Hi, which is the best coast in Mauritius for a holiday? Best beaches, good hotels etc?

I went to mauritius 2 years ago and stayed at flic en flac on the west coast, beautiful beaches and nice 4 - 5 star hotels....
I stayed at Sofitel imperial hotel (B&B) right on the beach, also La Pirogue, Sugar beach resort (both all inclusive i think) and the Hilton are along the same stretch of beach. (all 4 star)
Another nice area is on the North coast at a place called Grand Baie and on the south west coast around Le Morne is nice.
Another good idea, hire a car.... very cheap (my sister hired one for 2 days for 拢30) and you can drive all over. Takes about 1 - 1 1/2 hrs to drive north to south. Source(s): Personal experience

there are none. Go to Bermuda instead
There are many nice beaches in Mauritius, there is one called Blue Bay, one called Flic-en-Flac, one called Mon Choisy, one called Belle Mare and many more! They are all good!! I have lived there for a couple of years!! It would have been better if you went to Mauritius in December, because that is the peak summer month, and it is soooo hot!!! As for the hotels, there are so many great ones, it depends on which part of the island you are going, but they are all good!! Have a nice time!!!
