Weather in Mauritius in Easter & East & West of the Island? |
Travel Info What is the weather in Maurtius like at the end of March, start of April. I have also heard that even though its a small island the weather is different depending on what side of the island you stay on, firstly, is this true? Secondley, what are the characteristics of each sides weather. Lastly can you recommend any good resorts to stay in on the sunnier side of the island. Travel Tips around march u'll have nice sunny weather and u'll be able to enjoy the island. the weather is not so different, perhaps it'll be more windy on one side of the island, or it might rain on the other side.but generally the weather's nice. grand bay, in the north is a tourist area, u'll find nice beaches and the night life is good. along the south, there's a few hotels being built now, u might wanna check. but wherever u decide to stay, u can visit the whole of the island in less than 2 weeks (pamplemousses botanical garden, chamarel 7 coloured sand, central market, bird park, crocodile park, morne, avenure du sucre, black river gorges, ile aux cerfs) . also u might want to try parasailing and the underwater walk. click on this link for all the hotels available in mauritius http://www.servihoo.com/services/trouver... for bungalows and villas, u can try this link http://202.123.2.109/services/trouver/we... if u have a driving licence u can rent a car, u can check it out in this link http://202.123.2.109/channels/tourisme/l... but travelling by bus is very safe if u'd rather try the bus. Source(s): www.servihoo.com Other Travel Tips The whole island is both sunny and wet.........it often rains everyday in Mauritius. The wind is more of a problem but late March should be OK on any of the coasts. The north coast around Grand Bay is busy and more touristy and has some night life. The south cost, Bel Ombre area has some really nice new resorts but is very quiet and away from everything. The East coast also is a bit far from things but nice and the West coast near Flic en Flac and le morne is popular with the local people but the beach isn't very nice....... I could recommend some resorts if I knew what you were looking for..... |
