Heart had good suggestions, here are a few more. If you like to surf, there are 3 excellent breaks, Olas Atlas, Valentinos and Playa Bruja. Lots of great places to eat. Plaza Machado in El Centro is very romantic, lots of good restuarants down there. If you want desolate beach, hit Stone Island. there is even a beautiful place to stay out there, Estrella Del Mar. They have condos and a hotel, and their own sea turtle hatchery. There are some really neat villages (some with missions) nearby that are worth exploring. Pick up a Pacific Pearl, it's a monthly english paper. There are always events listed in there. Have fun! |
