Travel Info Lucky, Maz. is my dream vacation! I know there are fancier places and all and I have never been to Mex yet. But when I realized what a good value Mex. is for a vacation I researched a bit and felt that Maz has the best combo of beach, history, location, off the beaten path, and SHRIMP! I am not interested in the Golden Zone. I like Old Maz, Norte Beach, and Olas Altas. (Olas Altas seems to be the least attractive of the beaches.) Would you recommend Casa Le Leylandas (sp.) to stay. And what about the bed and breakfasts in Ziuhajuatenjo (sorry sp.)?
Travel Tips
My husband and I live in El Cid, but El Centro is our favorite place in town! There is alot to do, and there are several excellent restaurants. I wouldn't call the beach at Olas Atlas the most unattractive, no worse than any of the beaches in the city. if you want a pristine beach, there is a short ferry from Olas Atlas they will take you to Stone Island. Gorgeous!! As far as B&B's, Casa De Leyendas is a great place to stay. You also have the Royal Dutch, La Jolla, El Meson. They are all very nice and in the El Centro and Olas Atlas area. You may also want to post a question at www.mazinfo.com. Alot of people maintain furnished apartments that they rent out and that's a good place to find those. Sorry, but I cannot help you on Ziuhajuatenjo. We have not made it there yet! |
