Do I need a car in Mazatlan?

We're staying at Pueblo Bonita Mazatlan in May... and I was wondering if it is worth the $200/wk car rental?

Or is everything centrally located and withing walking distant?

Which Pueblo Bonito? Regardless, Mazatlan has a great and very inexpensive bus system, and, of course, lots of cabs. In my opinion, renting a car would not be worth it, unless you plan on visiting some of the outlying towns.

There are 2 PB here in Maz., I think that is the address for the one here in the Zona Dorado, not Emerald Bay. Does not matter, really, except that Emerald bay is pretty far out there.
