Have you ever been in the middle of a Tropical storm at night when at the beach?

I was in Mazatlan. The storm hit 2 a.m. and I sat on the balcony of the hotel. It was the most amazing experience when that close to the ocean. I sat out there for an hour with the hotel shaking from the thunder and flashes from the clouds above.

Travel Tips
Yeah, its is EXTREMELY cool! I have done it in Acapulco, Ixtapa, Mazatlan, and Tecolutla in VeraCruz! If a lightning strike doesn't kill you, its definitely one of life's most excellent experiences! I definitely recommend a double shot of good single-malt Scotch or a 100% Agave reposado to go along with the experience, as well as a little Jorge Negrette in the background........
