Can i work in mazatlan?

i was born in pomona california . i moved to dallas .and now i want to move 2 mazatlan can i work there and how much will i get payed if i did like tourist or hotels.jobs. what do i need to do to work.any papers get i.d.

If you're good at sales and talking to people, you could score quick work hawking timeshares or vacation rentals. Outside of that, it's tough. To work there officially, you'd need a sponsor employer who would, in turn, help you with the visa paperwork, yada-yada-yada. Hotel jobs and "tourist" jobs usually go to multi-lingual locals first and they pay less than a third of stateside wages. As a female, you might have some luck getting a job in a bar or restaurant where the owner pays in cash, easing much of the paperwork load. You'll still need lots of tips though to help cover basic living expenses.

thanks! i have a house in aguacaliente which is 30 to 45 min away from mazatlan.
so i guess i dont have to worry about rent .o plus my uncle has a pharmacia and he lives in front of el cd .so i guess i can also tell him if i could stay .either way i guess am try just to see how it feels to work
