London UK or Melbourne Australia..pro and cons to live in ? |
Travel Info Is it worth to immigrate to Australia ? Who knows ? Travel Tips Melbourne looks like a part of Sri Lanka or Abu Dhabi and London the international business city. The job market is crap and racism is ripe in Oz. Though Londoners left in London are less racist as it is said racist in England and South Africa found a great refuge downunder, in crocodile dundee and migrated in large number making it a racist capital of the world!! Others i have lived in melbourne all my life, and there's nothing wrong with australia, look out your window mate & decide for yourself If you need to ask the question, you should probably stay right where you are. Spring London - Today's High: 17潞 C Today's Low: 6潞 C Partly cloudy. Mild. Autumn Melbourne - Today's High: 25潞 C Today's Low: 11潞 C Sunny. Mild. Having not lived in London I couldn't give a great comparision. But Melbourne is great, and last year won the world's most liveable city. Its friendly, mulitcultural and probably much warmer. Just for the record, my daughter has just returned from the U.K. She loved it but said it was too overcrowded. Everything is too expensive and to the guy who stated that we are more racial here in Oz, has it all wrong. We are certainly not racial and any type of slurring does not occur here. Goodness, people really don't know how to get it right, I'm thinking. Maybe he should go back and do his homework? Hey... I'm from Chelsea originally and have been here since sept 06' it's ok I'm planning to stay here indefianately but I do miss london very much and alot of what you may take for granted back home you will sorly miss here... although the ozzies are cool, melbourne dosn't have much to offer after the initial booze filled nights out... you'll end up yearneing to travel to different states... but all in all it's not to bad and as mentioned earlier - it's better weather... ignorant people are everywhere... thats just the race war. |
