Travel Tips In order for a non resident to buy land in Australia, there is a process you have to go through to get permission from the government. Not very easy to do from outside the country. If you are serious about immigration, the first thing you need to do is to learn about the immigration laws. The Australian government has a website that is excellent. google- imigration Australia, and follow the leads. Figure out the type of visa you will need. You will probably need to be sponsored and have a job lined up. This is most difficult to accomplish without visiting in Australia. So, get a tourist visa, and come visit for a few weeks. Job hunt, meet a lot of people, figure out where you would like to live, establish a network of friends and contacts, then the immigration process becomes a matter of doing the paperwork and waiting. The most recent regulations appear to include English language testing for all immigrants. If your English is weak, work on it now, and that will make your process easier in the long run. Good Luck.
