Is melbourne a nice place to live in? |
Travel Info Is melbourne a nice place to live in? Travel Tips Melbourne Australia has it all over Melbourne Florida. Some of the best resteraunts in the world are in Melbourne Australia, and I cannot say enough about the Victoria Market. The people in Melbourne are great. On the down side, it can be a bit pricey for housing, and traffic inthe CBD is horrible. The commuter trains are okay, running frequently in the CBD, and shopping is tremendous. Hope your dreams come true, and your travel agent doesn't muck it up, and get you tickets to Florida... Others melbourne fl? if thats it is is a nice place alot of beach mix of young and retirees etc. tropical atmosphere laid back. Melbourne, Florida is very nice. The beaches are very close and clean. There are a lot of places to shop too, and it doesn't look as "junky" as a lot of Florida. Nikole apparently they didn't realize this was in Austrialia so you were probably talking about Melbourne Australia instead of Florida. I would like to know too. I'm thinking about moving there for a few years. I was born in Melbourne Australia and still live in the same state. Melbourne can be really great in my opinion - but it depends on your own wants and needs. If you are looking for kangaroos in the streets you will be bitterly disappointed. The website www.whitehat.com.au is created by a Melbourne local who loves the place - so that would be a good site to do some investigation. (I would subscribe to the newsletter at that site as well) Melbourne is culturally diverse, is the restaurant and cafe capital of Australia. I believe that Melbourne locals are very friendly and open. People are much more laid back than those in Sydney. It's a very unique city. It has a wonderful sports precinct and also many cultural events happening all the time. Once can never complain of being bored in Melbourne as there is always something to do. The things I love most about Melbourne is the culture of the city, the scenery in and around the city. I also love that it is a cultural melting pot. Melbourne is a very welcoming city. After living in Sydney for eight years returing to Melbourne was like being greeted by an old friend. I love finding little cafes and bars tucked away in unlikely corners and spaces, grungy and neglected areas that people use for showing street art, I love how there's such a passion for all kinds of art in Melbourne, the many beaches all around the city, the comedy festival, vietnamese restaurants and the food hall at victoria market. Sharon no it is a strange place strange weather very dirty & crowded A strange mob of people live there all the smart people move from there to QLD like i did |
