How to travel from Melbourne Airport straight to Great Ocean Road (12 apostles)? |
Travel Info Can I know the exact road there or map or any relevant information without having to go through Melbourne CBD? Thank you so much! Travel Tips Its a pretty long way (probably 2.5 to 3 hours by car). From the airport, take the Tullamarine freeway - the main road to the city then veer off to the Western Ring Road - the second exit, I think it will have a sign saying to Geelong maybe? Follow that until you get to the Princess freeway and veer to the right, it will take you down to Geelong - about an hours drive. Once you get to Geelong, you need to follow the signs to Ocean Grove, Lorne etc, that will take you to the start of The Great Ocean road - Follow that until you get to Port Arlington, the Twelve Apostles are near there.
