Where's a good place to try a scone?

Travel Info
So I keep hearing how good scones are and I have never had one. I'm not game to try the ones at McD's either!! So could some of you please recommend a great place to try a scone for the first time?

Near Berwick, Melbourne. Thanks!

Travel Tips
There are many places in the Dandenongs that specialise in Devonshire teas.
Alternatively, you could drop by my place, I make great scones. :)

Starbuck's ... if you have them in Melbourne!
The best place for all things sweet, including a Devonshire Tea (Scones with jam and whipped cream.), would have to be a cafe on Acland street in St. Kilda.
I'm not sure how far that is from Berwick, but there should be a tram from somewhere that you could catch.

I wish I could come too..............mmmm yum!
try a tea and scone cottage - look up cottages they are usually out of town in the country side - where they always have places to go and sit down and have a cuppa whilst chewing on a scone with jam and cream

mmmmmmm
Just find yourself a country tea house and have a devonshire tea
G'day Jaden S,

Thank you for your question.

I would look at finding a country tea shop. Alternatively, you could try tea at the Grand Hotel Sofitel.

You might want to see if one of the coffee shops in Berwick serve them.

Most Cake Shops or Tea rooms will have them
