Travel Info Hi,How is people in Melbourne, are they friendly?...what do they like to do more ? Travel Tips last time i went to melbourne, i found the people very friendly- much more so than sydney.... people in melbourne do much the same as any city- eat, work, drink/socialise at pubs.... the art gallery and culture of melbourne is very good Others In Melbourne people are struggling to make ends meet, with the long drought and water crisis in Australia and interest rate rise people are migrating in hordes to Europe and America. Life is tough so people drink to forget their grief and enjoy with little bit money they have after heafty fines and taxes are deducted from their salaries, rest of the guys are on drugs and are dole bludgers. Different communties lives in ghettoes as they are not accepted by the majority community as equal in employment and social interaction. Rest is fine, come anytime, cya soon! G'day, Maaite... r u 4 real? Hordes of ppl to Europe and US? What's wrong with moving to Asia :p Gosh... that means the property prices going down... I better buy now :p Just wonder what problem you got with Oz... I guess we'll never know... Now Mari... sorry for sidetracking... I reckon Melbourne ppl are more friendly compared with even ppl in Asia (where they said ppl are friendly). Believe me, I come from Asia. There are racist ppl of course, but there are racism in every part of the world anyway... I've been living in Melbourne for 16yrs and never regret the move. My neighbors are true blue Aussies and immigrants, and we are getting along fine. Melbournians are crazy abt sports and got more sporting events compared to any other cities. Hope this helps. We are very friendly. Love the beach, restaurants , theatre, getting together with friends, and shop. It is know for theatre, restaurants and shopping Maitte is full of crap. Intrest rates are not that high (once it was 17% so that was bad) yes we have drought but so do many places. As for moving to europe in droves YEAH RIGHT! |
