We found this Private Hotel (almost a B&B/Boutique) wonderful. http://www.tripadvisor.com/showuserrevie... Could be a little out of date - almost a year old. Check out other reviews on Trip Advisor. Hope this is some help. Have a wonderful time in Melbourne:) Others Get out of the city and go up to the dandenongs, not too far away, very quiet and romantic midweek. Good luck You could rent a room or appartment for a night in the city of Melbourne if you wished (see www.wotif.com.au). Or, if you didnt mind paying an admission fee of approx $17 each you could go to the observation floor of the Rialto Building and have a cup of coffee overlooking the city. Or go down to the banks of the Yarra (that runs through the city) and sit. Or go to the magnificent Botanical Gardens in nearby South Yarra. Or stroll down to the Shrine of Rememberance in St Kilda road and sit on its stone steps. |
