Travel Info Hi! My mom's coming over from malaysia to melbourne australia next week. I'm not sure where to bring her. Any suggestions? If you would like to take a little drive or a tour u can do the great ocean road. that is a great day trip. Or u can go up into the Dandenong Ranges National Park. I hope that your mum enjoys our great city. Take her to the Aquarium!! Show her something decent, like SYDNEY ! There will be a cheap flight out of that sorry, glum, tired gray town ! You dont say if you have a car. If not, your choices unfortunately are more limited. There are plenty of places though that are accessible by tram If she likes shopping take her to Highpoint shopping centre in Marybranong, Or you could take her to places in Melbourne like The polly woodside or The Melbourne exhibition or even take her to the crown casino for dinner one night and even go play at the pokies if your above 18. lol.
