It is a sad fact of life in the world we live in now. Dont stick your nose into business that doesn't concern you unless you are prepared to have it bitten off.
So many low lifes and scumbags carry weapons and have such a scant regard for human life, you just never know what will happen if you take a stand on someone elses behalf.

And very unusual, but the gunman appears to be 'a real bad guy' i.e. suspected member of Hell's Angels. Even more reason to make the gun laws tighter.
Yes I totally agree with you it is so sad that a good man like that died and my heart goes out to his family.
It explains how you can be in a train carriage getting beaten up and mugged, and nobody else in the carriage does a damn thing about it.

According to the news (watched 3 different channel news yesterday), the killed man may no even trying at all. He was having his morning jogging, saw the gunman and woman came out from the taxi. The gunman saw him run toward them and shot him. At that stage the gunman assumed that the guy try to approach him. Mind you, I'm just writing what the medias say. It doesn't make what the gunman did any less inhumane.

I do feel sorry for the man's family as well.
