Travel Tips I have found that for overseas flights, Orbitz or Travelocity can be more expensive than if you have gone straight to travel agents that specialize in that particular route. For example, I recently purchased a flight to Hong Kong at half the quoted Orbitz / Travelocity price by calling this Chinese-owned travel agent. I dont know why or how this works, but it's worth giving those travel agents that specialize in Australian travel and tour packages a call. Others try orbitz or travelocity try sidestep.com it shows best prices from orbitz and major airlines. I have found the best deals through Qantas Airlines and Air New Zelanad.
