My territory, the Australian Capital Territory, is busy trying to recruit workers as we are suffering from a shortage of skilled workers with full employment. Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory have strong economies due to the high demand for resources. Others its ALOT easier to get it in America, it's in high demand If you come to the states, there will be far more opportunity. Easiest in a city such as Houston which has a large Indian community and is a community of great diversity, very low unemployment, and high demand for well qualified IT people. its very easy. there are many IT jobs around. A lot easier if you have good verbal and written communication skills and have organised your own visa. It can be difficult to get visa sponsorship since this is a lot of extra work for a company. There is a lot of demand for IT people in most capital cities though Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra have the most jobs. I don't know how long a visa takes but if you have a concrete travel date you may be able to do some first round job interviews over the phone. |
