Job in australia?

My hussy and self are ofIndian origin but in UAE for a decade. We had applied for migration to Australia (Melbourne) which has ultimately clicked. Shortly we will step in the land but will have to return due to economic reasons. Can we then apply for jobsin Australia as all jobs ask for Australia work visa? Is there any other way also to get jobs at the earliest? I heard people (generally) find it difficult to get jobs there. My husband has technical(airconditioning and facility maintenance qualification + experience. Myself has medical + cargo liability insurance experience.). What is our scope over Australia?

to go anywhere especially a new country and try to establish oneself is very difficult and the same applies in australia. i suppose it depends what region of australia your aiming to live in. if you are looking to live in Melbourne (as you indicated) or sydney then the job market is still good there. however competition is very tough.

the job market in Western australia, and NT is very active and currently we are experiencing a crippling skill shortage. if you husband is in aircon and facility maintenance then its a good thing - especially if he has HVAC and BMS experience. however getting his qualifications recognised through TRA is very important. it just means that he will be looked upon much more favourably as compared to someone who may not have their paperwork ready.

also it will help you immensely if you do get your residency or atleast a working visa approved. unless you have this status - it will be near impossible to find work.

as for yourself - I am not too sure about the medical side as i am a specialist in trade and mechanical recruitment. however again my advice to you would be to ensure that your documentation is recognised and that you have proper working visa or residency status otherwise finding a permenant or atleast an ongoing position is going to be very tough.
