What to do in Melbourne, Australia with friends? |
Travel Info Does anyone know of anything different to do? Such as organised pub crawls, theatre restuarants etc? Going on a party weekend there and need some ideas. Travel Tips Try the restaurant tram as seen on Kath & Kim.... Hunchbax and Draculas are the 2 better theatre restaurants in Melbourne (I'm not a fan of theatre restaurants) I don't think you need to go on an "organised" pub crawl. Buy these deck of cards http://www.deckofsecrets.com it's got a blurb on a bar on one side and on the reverse side a map on how to get there. Then you and your friends just pick a card at random and enjoy the night!! You can get them from any newsagent in Melbourne. They are great I've got a set and use them all the time. They have got some terrific wines there. Sightseeing, plenty. Pick up brochures at the airport and just go. 500mile Great Ocean Road, Penguin Island, Puffing Billy ride, etc. Check out on Yahoo travel too. a weekend is enough time to escape from Melbourne for good & move to QLD for some good weather pub crawls are awsome fun...but be prepared to hand over some cash. If your into the night life, check out www.maxmoose.com.au. its got all you need to know on whats happening. and there are some great cheap drink nights too.
