What to wear in Melbourne Australia in June? |
Travel Info Will be in Melbourne and Sydney in late June for one week, and will also visit Phillip Island for the penguin parade. Will down ski parka be too much? Or will a sweatshirt pullover be too little? Don't like to carry a heavy coat if not necessary. Thanks! Travel Tips Very warm clothes. Tonight it is only 1C, and it isnt even winter yet. Others its gonna be winters in june in oz. i reccomend u carry some nice warm clothes, though it doesnt snow in either melb or sydney, temp can go dowb up tp 0 degree C. Melb is beautifullll....... bring both! esp if you're going to phillip island trust me, i live in melbourne melbourne's weather changes in a day it can be warm and sunny in the afternoon, and windy and cold at night not sure about sydney though make sure you bring some long sleeved shirts too enjoy your trip =) damn you'll need more then a little coat, its winter here in oz in june so its getting pretty damn cold, on ur good days u can prolly get away wearing pants/trousers and a warm jumper with a coat but getting to the evening time and the arvo it cools off prety fast u'll need a scarf gloves beanie the hole lot. melb can be pretty darn cold!! In June in Melbourne, it will be winter. You will need warm clothes and if you are going to Phillip Island, you will need water proof warm clothes. An umberella would be wise too. The peguin parrade is awesome! You will love it, but it will be cold at that time of year! it's really cold in melbourne in june .. sydney is a lot milder but i think you should pack that jacket..have a great time in our beautiful country :) For Melbourne the ski parka will be perfect it gets awfully cold and foggy, damp and wet. The penguin parade is fantastic but very cold especially being at night. Sydney is milder although coats and woollies will still be your best bet. Pack plenty of warm clothes, if it turns a little warmer just buy or bring a spray jacket to go over your sweatshirt. You may also need a beanie and good pockets for your hands for the visit to Philip Island |
