Travel Tips
If you travel overnight (21:30 to 06:20) and put up with 23 stops, Greyhound goes Melbourne to Adelaide for $56 (one way).

By rail:
The Overland goes between Adelaide and Melbourne.
The train actually takes longer, but might be cheaper in "Red Kangaroo Service" (which means second class).

The cheapest way to get from and to ur destination is the train i have tried it before really comfortable and cheap and u get a disc if u r a student card
Train or the bus would be your best bet. Both have daily runs. Just call the stations. Have a fun trip!
Check with qantas.. they have flights to both cities and is fairly competitive
