Travel Info I'm planning a week long trip to Melbourne (from NZ), Can you suggest anything else I must do? Travel Tipsyou cannot miss them Wonders of the world trust me you will love your trip. Also drive the entire great ocean rd Well there is actually only 8 after the collapse last year. I dont think they are alone worth it but the views all along the Great Ocean Road are priceless...I took an american friend and she was amazed at the beauty of the surfcoast - it truely is beautiful. If you're a kiwi then it'd be a nice trip, but it doesn't really compare to your stunning NZ scenery, so don't expect to be overwhelmed. The great Ocean road is similar to the Kaikoura coast, without the mountain backdrop. Previous answerers make good suggestions for other activities... long winding drive bad hotels and just rocks ...much better ways to waste a day |
