Or come over here to do a bit of graduate study (there's the AGSM: Australian graduate school of management or you could go for a CPA) and that'll probably be good for sussing out the job market. As a computer scientist forget it. There are way to many people studying that already (and no it is not a high demand job) and the market is flooded with out of work IT specialists. Probably the most useless degree for working in any developed country. Computer science is viewed as useful if you have something else to offer. That's why I'd advise you to go a bit further in your accountancy study. Others Im afraid not yes why not. be confident and you will achieve what you want. Whether or not you are black is a moot point. Whether or not you have good grades is the deciding influence. Even if you do not get a job in Melbourne, you will definitely get a job somewhere. Computer science and IT personnel are always in high demand. I wouldn't worry if I were you. |
