Travel Tips Hello! i did backpacking to Australia last year nearly 3 month, my favor state in aus is melbourne, the people is so nice over there and is a beautiful place, i loved melbourne and might migrate over there someday. first may i get to know that where do you come from? if you come from a western country i think it wont be too expensive for you to stay in aus, if you come from asian country then the rate exchange might be higher abit for you, but melbourne is not tough to find a job, the people there is really kind and nice, i don't think is a problem for you to survive. about the accommodation backpackers hotels is the cheapest choices, 4 to 6 bed Dome shared is only 16 to 20 aussie dollar per night, advance booking or longer stay can get cheapest price, if you hired a room by your own is only 120 to 160 or so per week. but i loved the most of melbourne is the amazing night view, is making me feel extremely intoxicated when my foot roved on to this beautiful place, and my favor outback in aus was the great ocean road-melbourne! let's explore and enjoin the stay in melbourne! Others i live in melbourne and it is an average priced place. Melbourne isn't an overly expensive town but if your not careful your money can get away from you. If you are going to university there accomodation can be pretty expensive nearby because it is in high demand. but otherwise a basic apartment isn't all to expensive but it may pay to shop around.
