What website can i buy a plane ticket to melbourne from, that allows me to pay in installments? |
Travel Info I want to travel to melbourne australia from anywhere in UK in around November/early December time. However all the sites I have been on require full payment on purchase but I dont have enough money at present and would prefer to pay in installments. Does anyone know a site where this would be possible? I also want to keep the ticket cost down to under 拢800. Thanks x Travel Tips no - all airlines require full payment before travel. the only way to pay in installments is to pay by credit card. the best way to do this if you dont like credit cards is to buy the ticket on one credit card then get another card with 0% on balance transfers. then transfer the balance and hey presto you are paying for you ticket over a number of months without paying a load of interest. one of the best sites for low cost travel to Oz is travelbag. you should be able to keep it just under 800 but as its summer time in Oz at that time and you have left it a little late to get the really good deals, you probably wont be able to find a flight for much less than that. Others dunno if you can .... sorry. sorry i rated question and clicked wrong button and they wont let me correct it. try expedia.co.uk Why not use a credit card that gives 0% for 6/12 months try a company called Harvey world travel - Australia specialists dnt think you will be able to pay in instalments and to be honest flying for 800 or under might be difficult that time of year.. would recommend emirates. try putting student travel to Australia in google and see what that brings up.. You will probably have to see a travel agent. Certain tickets allow "holding" until a certain date where the money is required. How long the agent can hold off ticketing depends on the fare and the airline. Best you chat to them about it. (Also, the ideas about getting a 0% credit card in this thread have merit as well). |
