What are some nice safe towns to live in, in Melbourne Aust? |
Travel Info I like Rowville, have only been there once, but not sure if it is a nice place to live. But preferably with in an hour or so from Flemmington Road. Travel Tips Have you considered Essendon, Niddrie, Gowanbrae, Gladstone Park, or some parts of Ascott Vale? Of all the above, I would pick Niddrie or Gowanbrae - each are about a 10 minute drive from Flemington Road, as well as the airport, and both have good to great links for public transport. Ascott Vale is fairly nice too, but in some areas of it there is rather high crime. The same applies to Essendon, especially arround the train station. If you are looking for somewhere to live, any of the above should more than surfice. I have worked in Niddrie for two years, lived in essendon for about 4 years and am now living in the area. Others Hey, I live in Heathmont. Its a really nice nieborhood. You should check it out. Real Estate isnt too bad, people are great. sorry i cant give you too much info on that! i live in canberra myself... toorak is a very nice place, with the city only 15 minutes away on tram, lovely parks, great restuarants, its no wonder so many stars live there! you can run into many australian stars in the local pizza shop! its fantastic! it is expensive living tho, but if you look around you may be able to find a steal!! Yes Rowville is OK just try and keep away from the western suburbs like Footscray-Sunshine-Werribee the area is full of no hoppers and druggies Try South Melbourne- Albert Park- Sandringham these areas are quiet expensive but its worth it |
