What is the best accomodation for International Student in Melbourne, Au? Homestay, Dom or Share house?? |
Travel Info I'm a 19 years-old, International student. What is the advantage and disadvantage of each of the option??? Travel Tips If u can afford then go for Homestay otherwise ...share house ..........Also if its yr first time ....then keep preference on Homestay for some initial weeks Others I think most students house share. Contact your university and see what they have to say. they'll usually have an officer that deals with student accommodation. It depends on what your goal is. Personally, when I was an exchange student I preferred living with a family as I was able to experience the culture and family life first hand. Renting a house means you will have more headaches dealing with roommates and expenses and maintenance etc, plus you will get to know other international students well but not learn so much about Australian culture. i am also international student i thing its share if u need help u can email me fazi_all@yahoo.com i am from deakin uni melbourne bye Go for a homestay and make sure that you and the family get along. I have a friend from Barcelona who was with a home stay mother who was fantastic--taught her lots about how to get along in Sydney. However, she has also been in situations where it didn't work out because of personality issues. You might luck out and get to stay with a lovely homestay family. Melbourne is one of my favourite cities. I hope that you have a fantastic experience. College square, swanston street..its affordable yet comfortable as well! |
