It is not an underground station. Melbourne only has 3 of those. The city is about 30 minutes train ride from Moorabbin. Cheers. Moorabbin is about 20 minutes drive from the CBD or 25-35 minutes on a train depending on whether you get express or stopping all stations. It is about 15 minutes walk from the train station to the campus or you can keep an eye out for a bus to do it in 5. The trains and buses use the same ticketing system so you shouldn't have to pay extra for the bus.
