How busy is melbourne in february? |
Travel Info we havent booked accomodation in melbourne yet but were rather going to wait till we got there to find a hostel. Travel Tips You should make enquiries about availability all the same. I was there in April and it was quite busy but i had accommodation. it is a big enough city so I am sure you will get a place somewhere for the first night. You should check what the hostels are like and make sure there is room. Have a good time. Others Fairly quiet. The usual farmers market, and there's the Young Conservative valentine ball, and I think there is a tug-of-war with a pub team from Ticknal. Er, it is Melbourne Derbyshire you are talking about, isn't it? I hear there is a place with a similar name somewhere in the antipodes! It's fairly busy down the High Street on Saturday Afternoon, but not as busy as most smaller places with less space for people to spread out. The Co-op is fairly quiet at three in the morning.Well, dead actually, most times. The pubs get busy when there's a cricket match on,but they're even busier when there isn't one,cos there's not so many going to the green to watch it,so they go down the pub and play at Cricket Managers instead. The street gets busy at chuck-out time and sometimes the taxies as well for the blokes that have any money left. Then the bedrooms get busy and then the kitchens next morning, and then different factories and things start up unless it's Sunday, when the bedrooms get busy again.. Alice is quiet though. You could try putting dates on the booking chart and see if ticks come up on shared or private rooms for when you want to go.There's usually enough space on the beach for a few hundred folks most nights. If it's Melbourne, Australia it does tend to be quite busy as it's the beginning of Grand Prix. Also, the Australian Open finishes late January so there may be a few hangers-on from that. |
