Can anyone advice me the most convenient place to stay if I were to study in Uni of Melbourne.? |
Travel Info Which is also convenient to facilities like the Queen Victoria market, school etc. Thank you. Travel Tips Melbourne Uni is just north of the CBD, and east of Queen Vic market. The general area around the Uni is mostly student population. Mel Uni has on-campus student accommodation if that is more suitable for you. You can catch a tram from the Uni entrance, that will take you down Swanston street, and then walk to Vic market. Off-campus options includes the many houses in neighbouring North Melbourne, including Brunswick and Lygon Streets. Numerous apartments in the CBD, but a little more expensive. Check the housing office in the Uni, which should be able to help you with all the options. Good luck! Others There is a lot of student accommodation available in apartment blocks along the northern parts of Swanston St. That is very close to the University of Melbourne, but I have no idea whether or not those places are affordable. Try looking at the housing page on the University's web site: http://www.services.unimelb.edu.au/housi... - I haven't read through it all, but I would assume it would be helpful. an appartment would probably be the best choice...u can go to victoria market by the trams |
