Where can i rent a car from in melbourne if im under 21? |
Travel Info i need to rent for a day, and im having serious trouble finding a company who will let people under 21 rent - SERIOUS answers only - I HATE gettin answers from people who don't know what they were talking about or say thing like 'try thrifty car hire'.... I've already looked at places, i'm not lazy! I just want to know from people who might ACTUALLY know! Travel Tips G'day, This may not be the answer that you are looking for but I am trying to answer it seriously. As far as I know, there are no car rental companies willing to rent out their cars for under 21. I think your choice is only to ask someone over 21 that can rent on your behalf. Of course this means that the person will bear all the responsibilities should anything wrong happens. Good luck. Kind regards, Others Hi, no car company in Australia will Hire out a car to someone under 21 (regardless how good of a driver you are). And regarding getting someone else to sign out the car for you. Well, that is against all car rental policies. You are not allowed to drive a car, just because someone over 21 has signed it out for you. They would be very stupid to do that, and they can get in to very BIG trouble. So, yeah. Guess you will have to take public transport or some other way of transport....like all the other under 21's. |
