Working with Bunac from the US going to Melbourne Australia? |
Travel Info I will be working in Australia through Bunac in March. Has anyone done this particular program (work Australia coming from the US)? Is there anything I should do before or as soon as I arrive? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks! Travel Tips I used BUNAC to go to New Zealand and really all you do is have a meeting with them the first day or so that you are there. They give you some info and then send you out into the world. They have message boards in their offices so it is really not too difficult to find work - you do have to be willing to go where the work is though. I went to a really popular spot and didnt get a job for 3 months. But after that it was all rosy. It is a lot of fun and Australia is amazing. Have fun! Others No worry. Melbourne is a city, and you will be fine. before you live, you make sure you forawrd your mail address to your parents and close your bank account. good luck for your moving!
