Mate... what sort of internet services do you have :P Others You posted the same question 5 times in the Australian forum. That's pretty annoying. Why have you asked the same question FIVE times? What a waste of points......... But thanks for the 2 points I got! I would recommend the Victoria Hotel or Quest apartments (if you're looking for accomodation) they're both in the CBD. For a hotel to visit, you should visit Young and Jacksons and the Imperial Hotel (both can accomodate children with their parents at times - the Imperial has outdoor tables). As for attractions, I would suggest starting at Federation Square (which is opposite Young and Jacksons) where there is a tourism booth with lots of information. The musuem in Carlton (not far) is great, as is the aquarium, the Immigration Museum, the Rialto Observation Deck, a ride on a tram (the city circle one - older style ones which are gold and burgundy are free and have a voice over system with tourism and attraction information. If you have a car or would like to get the train and bus (I'm sure the kids would love it), the Dandenong Ranges is an hours drive to the east, the Mornington Penninsula is an hours drive to the south-east, the Great Ocean Road is the other side of the Geelong. The Novotel is a nice hotel The Crown is expensive - but fabulous for kids and adults You must visit the melbourne aquarium and weribee zoo. Go to the city and visit some beaches.
