Im moving from the UK to Melbourne OZ what are my chances of getting a similar job in OZ? |
Travel Info I currently work as a Probation Service Officer Travel Tips G'day, Probation Service Officer... hmmmm... is that a public/government employment? If I'm not mistaken, all government jobs are only offered for Australian citizen only. You may want to check this again to make sure. I'm an immigrant as well and when I was moving to Melbourne I applied for jobs through the connections that I got in my previous job and sure enough, I got one job offered for me when I arrived in Melbourne. So you might wanna try the same trick, although, again, not sure abt the residency/citizenship status. I am enclosing some job websites as well that you may wanna try.
