Travel Tips you can go to craft stores and they sell blocks of wax, similar to a block of chocolate. they also sell the wicks. you melt the wax in a bowl simmilar to how you make chocolate and then either pour it into a mould around the wick. then let it set. outherwise you can mak it in a large bucket and dip the wick string in the wax, then in cold water then back in the wax then back in the water, andcontinue this until you have the desired thickness. this way you can use several different colour layers throughout the candle and carve out shapes that will show all the colours through out. hope this helps Others ever seen the movie shrek? he makes his own quickly out of ear wax. just kidding. there's a book called "how to make anything" and it has detailed photos and step by step instructions. should be at your public library...good luck!
