Can someone who has visited or lives in Melbourne...plz tell me what are the shopping hours??? |
Travel Info Im going to be visiting there in a few months...and i want to know what itme shops open and close there?!!? Thanks Travel Tips Hi, I live in Melbourne. All shops are open at least 9am till 5pm. The malls are open 9am-5pm Monday to Wednesday's and on Saturday and Sunday's. They are open 9am until 9pm on Thursday and Friday. In the city the major shops like Myer and David Jones open at around 10am until 5pm. On Friday they are open until around 9pm. Others If you shops for clothes and stuff, the shops opens whole day 24/7. If you like night clubs and casino they are open whole night. Melbourne is great. I live just 2 hrs north of Melb. I go there and stay with friends when I can. I hope you enjoy your stay. shops in Melbourne open from 9 in the morning till 5 in the evening. have a nice trip!!! This depends upon what you want to buy. Many supermarkets and 7-11 type stores are open 24 hours per day. Most department stores are open 9-5 or 6. On Friday night there is late night shopping until 9pm. On weekends major stores are open from about 9-6 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday (but again, this varies). Little boutiques and funky shopping strips vary immensely but generally will be open 7 days from about 10 to about 5 (with some later and earlier). Mon - Wed is usually 9am through to 6pm Thur - Friday - 9am through to 9pm Sat & Sun 9 am through to 5pm |
