It is safe but be careful when you take a cab specially at nights (there麓s lots of fake cabs, they call 茅m Pirate cabs and you may be propense to robbery or kidnapping) if you wanna take one from the airport take one that you pay the service for in there, there麓s lots of robberies like in any big city so try not to wear gold or big watches elegant clothes, try to use public transportation and keep your money hand safe ,,,try to avoid an area called Tepito specially if you do have the tourist looks! downtown is safe during the day but not at night it is good if you get a companion You can go to polanco , Zona rosa, Coyoacan specially at nights its cool! Xochimilco and the so called trajineras and if you can then go to the pyramids (teotihuacan) ...... |
